Charity Campaign Purple Horse 2025

The life-size Purple Horse has been an ambassador for the International Frankfurt Festhallen Reitturnier since 2016 now and collects donations for charity projects every year. The Purple Horse is made unique by the golden handprints of supporters, prominent riders and personalities.

With the charity campaign, the partners and visitors of the International Frankfurt Festhallen Reitturnier show their solidarity with the metropolitan region and pool their commitment to selected projects and people who need support - hand in hand for the region.

We are living in very crisis-ridden and worrying times. Supportive cooperation, consideration and mutual understanding are particularly important here.

As the highlight of the campaign, the Purple Horse will be raffled off at the 52th International Frankfurt Festhallen Reitturnier on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

In 2025, the focus will be on a project that supports civic engagement and enables social participation, as well as a project that promotes the educational and personal development of children with a migrant or refugee background, thereby offering them better educational opportunities.

We are delighted to be able to support the following projects this year:

Frankfurt Miteinanderfonds of the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft

for a new form of social engagement with low-threshold support for Frankfurt citizens.

and

Diesterweg Scholarship of the Bürgerstiftung Offenbach

for gifted primary school children facing educational barriers and their families, to support them on their journey from primary school to secondary school.

Frankfurt Miteinanderfonds

Under the motto ‘We build together’, the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft has been promoting education, cohesion and engagement in Frankfurt for 20 years. In its anniversary year, a new project is now being launched:

The Frankfurt Miteinanderfonds.

The Frankfurt Miteinanderfonds is a low-threshold funding opportunity for citizens who want to realise an idea to strengthen community spirit on their doorstep.

Whether it's a neighbourhood party, planting a green strip, an educational programme for children in the neighbourhood or a joint litter collection campaign.

The projects are supported with uncomplicated, low-threshold funding of up to € 500  so that many good ideas can be put into practice in Frankfurt.

Doing good for the benefit of everyone in Frankfurt!

Diesterweg Scholarship in Offenbach

The Diesterweg Scholarship in Offenbach also celebrated an anniversary this year. Children and families have now been walking their shared Diesterweg for 10 years.

It is the first educational scholarship for families in Germany that specifically supports gifted and motivated children facing educational barriers on their path from primary school to secondary school, while also involving parents and siblings in the process. This enables children to overcome educational barriers that exist due to their background or social environment.

The Linsenhoff-Stiftung has been accompanying and supporting the project, which is implemented by the Bürgerstiftung Offenbach, since the first generation in 2015.

Currently, 17 pupils from 12 countries of origin and 7 primary schools in Offenbach, together with their families, are participating in the sixth generation of the scholarship programme, which runs for two years from 2025 to 2027.

We are delighted to be able to support the Frankfurt Miteinanderfonds  with this year's Lila Pferd Charity Campaign, thereby promoting a new form of social engagement for the citizens of Frankfurt.

The Lila Pferd Charity Campaign has already supported the Diesterweg Scholarship in Offenbach in previous years. We are very pleased to be able to continue this support this year.
